April 30 - Lambs Canyon

Sunny day with temps in the upper 50s; it's a good day for an after work hike. Thought about the Desolation Trail but ended up walking Lambs Canyon Rd.

A little cool but still in the 50s.

The Forget-me-knots are in bloom!!!

Pretty quiet day other than the roaring creek.

I think the Spring rush of the over-winterers is over even the pretty brown moths I only saw 1. And no butterflies other than 5 Painted Ladies.

The road is melted; no snow crossings and just a few spots with snow on the western edges.

The bridge is melted but still lots of snow on the other side. I'm sure once I get to the main trail things might better but that's for another day.

Good day!
